LOI features a variety of different skills. Some skills can get resources, which, in conjunction with resources from other sources like fighting and shops, can be used in other skills to create items or give permanent buffs. Each class specializes in a different skill.
Mining - found left of the town, get ores which can be smelted into bars to use in Smithing and Alchemy. Warriors specialize in this skill.
Smithing - found in the town, use resources to craft equipment, consumables, etc.. Archers specialize in this skill.
Choppin - found right of the town in the monster areas, get logs and leaves to use in Smithing and Alchemy. Mages specialize in this skill.
Fishing - found left of the town, catch fish to use in Smithing and Alchemy. Barbarians specialize in this skill.
Alchemy - found in the town, (no idea how to describe it lol). Shamans specialize in this skill.
Catching - found right of the town in the monster areas, catch flies to use in Smithing and Alchemy. Bowmen specialize in this skill.
