The Death note is available from World 3 through construction. The mechanic is very similiar to prowess where you can collect more resources by hitting efficiency tiers past 100% mine/chop/catch/fish chance.

Only the base resources, the first one in each droptable is affected by the bonus. Spore Cap for Green Mushrooms, Frog Legs for Frogs etc.

Multikill bonuses also increase kill count, which helps unlock portals, get Apocalypse Zow's for Barbarians and to scale your Deathnote faster.

The Death note tracks the amount of kills of every mob from all your characters.
You get points for each kill tier that you reach for each individual type of monster.
Each world has it's own Point total.
One point adds +1% Multikill bonus per tier to that world.
Bosses and Crystal Monsters are not tracked by the deathnote.

  • Status Skull0.png 25,000 Kills = 1 point
  • Status Skull1.png 100,000 Kills = 2 points
  • Status Skull2.png 250,000 Kills = 3 points
  • Status Skull3.png 500,000 Kills = 4 points
  • Status Skull4.png 1,000,000 Kills = 5 points
  • Status Skull5.png 5,000,000 Kills = 7 points
  • Status Skull6.png 100,000,000 Kills = 10 points
  • Rift Bonus 4.png 1,000,000,000 Kills = 20 points (along with 5% multiplicative damage, with Eclipse Skulls from The Rift.)

Damage Tiers are calculated based on how much extra damage you do. The requirement doubles for each tier.

  • 1x Damage Tier = 2x monster's HP
  • 2x Damage Tier = 4x monster's HP
  • 3x Damage Tier = 8x monster's HP
  • 4x Damage Tier = 16x monster's HP
  • x Damage Tier = x monster's HP

Each character has an individual multikill% based on it's Damage Tier and the monster HP of the current map they are in, multiplied multikill bonus from deathnote for that world and other sources.
