On the topic of acceptable text to place on pages

Hello there new editor!

I'm writing this to inform you that your recent edits included some text that isn't suitable for display. Not that it's anything wrong, just not in a format that it should be. As an example on the Arcane Cultist page you put the following addition:

["unknown? sorry bud but Elemental Sorcerer is out.] well. here we go! but today's family chart shows that Elemental Sorcerer and Bubonic Conjurer are right next to each other and there fore proves that statement false. and so that means that this is the last class in the Wizard line. [edit by 99999fortlite99. also this is the last one I made so yea. btw I'm midway through the effaunt fight so bye. and yes... I'm in world 3 but I require armor.]
  • First off, this wiki is manually edited in a lot of places by several individuals so it isn't a good idea to address any singular "bud" nor is it a good idea to give snippy comments on a page that hadn't been edited in over a year for content that was already unconfirmed and always subject to change.
  • Secondly, if you do need to add a comment at any time it would be a good idea not to have it visible on page view. You can make it invisible by using <!-- Comment here --> which will make it only visible to people who edit the page (Admins always check these edits anyway so we'll see them)
  • Lastly, on the unreleased classes pages I have removed the edits you've made. The reason being is because these classes aren't released and are entirely subject to change before then. For example, should Lava decide to, they might be directly unlockable from the basic class stages just by taking them up to world 6/7/8 and we wouldn't know that until he releases them. So all of what you put was conjecture and presumptions. I've also removed any indication of a future unreleased class from the templates since those too were presumptuous, and shouldn't have been defined in the first place. But you'll also note that on those pages I still left that it would 'probably' be those classes within a commented out line so you can see how it works.

Don't take the fact that I've written this big section to you to mean that we don't want your help. I usually only use these discussions to try to help people improve their wiki editing skills so it often comes off as though I'm only finding faults. Here's to hoping you continue to join us in the future for helping to keep this wiki up to date with accurate information!

Sincerely,
