Obols

Obol Information

Obols are collectibles of various shapes (Circle, Square, Hexagon and Sparkle) which may be placed on character or family (account-wide) slots at the Obol Altar.

You need to unlock the altar via a quest but may only complete it after defeating the boss of World 1, Amarok.

Unequipped Obols are not stored in the stash or in the inventory but in a special Obol Storage, accessible via the Obol Altar. You can increase the size of your Obol storage with Salt Lick upgrades and Gem Shop purchases.

Acquiring Obols

After activating the merit in the Yum-Yum Desert Merit Shop, obols can be acquired from:

• Any enemy or boss with a Rare Drop table
• Any skill that can be AFKed (Mining, Choppin, Fishing, Catching)
• Alchemy Liquid Shop purchases
• Certain Quests
• Gem Shop purchases

Equipping Obols

Each slot in the Obol Altar has a level requirement. On the Personal tab, it is that character's class level. On the Family tab, it is the total class level of your characters combined.
