Glacial Basement is located inside the Igloo Frostbite Towndra just behind the Vendor. To enter the dungeon you must be in a party. You can use the "Create Party" button above your equipment to create one, or join another player's party.
In order to progress and fight bosses, you need to fight your way through a series of Ice Guards that block your way around the platforms and deal enough damage to essentially ensure a death. The boss is always located in the center, but when you kill it you will be transported back to the starting platform and all Ice Guards will be respawned. Also all enemies will gain more health. In addition to the boss and Ice Guards there are normal enemies that respawn relegated to certain platforms, a Wispy Log Tree, and a Platinum Ore vein.
