Coins are the main form of currency in IdleOn. They consist of several denominations which are made of the various metals available in the game (with the exception of silver, which replaces iron).
Denominations
Each denomination of coin is equivalent to 100 coins of the previous denomination.
Storage
Coins have dedicated storage slots within each character's inventory as well as the shared storage chest. The current number of coins held can be found in the lower right corner of their respective windows.
Stacks of coins are automatically converted between denominations whenever possible. For example:
Sources
- Killing monsters
- Selling items to vendors
- Completing quests which reward coins
- Completing post office orders
Uses
- Purchasing items from vendors
- Upgrading stamps and purchasing bribes
- Purchasing anvil points
- Purchasing forge upgrades
- Purchasing golden statue upgrades
- Purchasing 'Pay 2 Win' upgrades in alchemy
- Unlocking kitchens
- Upgrading divinity gods
- Increasing damage for the Maestro's Coin Toss attack
Money Bonuses
Money gained from monsters is multiplied by your drop rate, above 2x drop rate guarantees getting a drop of money while active.
