Every character starts out as a Beginner. There are three main classes to branch into, namely Warrior, Archer, and Mage. Each class can branch into two different subclasses later down the road. Furthermore, each class features unique talents and specializes in a skill, like mining, smithing, and choppin. There will be a total of 38 classes.

Each class gives a family bonus. If you have more than one character with the same class and/or subclass, only the highest level character will provide the bonus.

Beginner

This is class you start with. The Beginner class gets Damage and Accuracy from Luck. It is not specialized in anything in particular.

Journeyman

To get this class you have to be a beginner and do a Secret questline. The Journeyman class gets Damage and Accuracy from Luck. It is not specialized in anything particular.

Warrior

The Warrior is one of three class choices you get from Promotheus. The Warrior specializes in Mining, but the specialization also affects Fishing. Warriors gain Damage from Strength and Accurary from Wisdom. Warriors use Spears.

Warrior Subclasses

Barbarian

On top of all the benefits and talents from the Warrior class, the Barbarian also has further talents to improve Fishing.

Squire

The Squire is a Warrior subclass that will specialize in Construction. Until the release of World 3 Skills (Date TBD), Squires have access to only 11 out of 15 Talents on tab 3.

Archer

The Archer is the second of the three class choices you get from Promotheus. The Archer specializes in Smithing, but the specialization also affects Catching. Archers gain damage from Agility and Accuracy from Strength. Archers use Bows.

Hunter

The Hunter is an Archer subclass that will specialize in Trapping. Until the release of World 3 Skills (Date TBD), Hunters have access to only 11 out of 15 Talents on tab 3.

Mage

The Mage is the third of the three class choices you get from Promotheus. The Mage specializes in Choppin. Mages gain Damage from Wisdom and Accuracy from Agility. Mages use Wands.

The Wizard is a Mage subclass that will specialize in Worship. Until the release of World 3 Skills (Date TBD), Wizards have access to only 11 out of 15 Talents on tab 3.

Shaman

On top of all the benefits and talents from the Mage, the Shaman has talents to enhance Alchemy.
