Legends of Idleon features a variety of different skills. Some skills can get resources, which, in conjunction with resources from other sources like fighting and shops, can be used in other skills to create items or give permanent buffs. Each Class specializes in a different skill.
Every single level gained in any skill on a character grants Talent points throughout all of its tabs, so getting a well-trained character will require you to spend time in as many skills as possible. Certain Special Talents, such as Supersource which is easy to obtain through the Dungeon shop, can notably help with this multi-skill training.
Mining is found left of the town. Mine ores which can be smelted into bars to use in Smithing, Alchemy, and Construction.

Choppin is found right of the town in monster areas. Collect logs and leaves to use in Smithing, Alchemy, and Construction.
